Have just spent approximately... oh... how tedious it is to have to count time in units mortals comprehend... about one hundred thirty years of Continuum time, much of it spent in alternate universes.

q has figured out how to negate the gravitational constant. I don't know whether to be proud of him or annoyed that sticking him in a black hole is no longer an option.

I have done something terribly bad, tasteless and wrong for which I would have been sorely chastised by the Continuum if I hadn't WON THE WAR. But I did. So no one is complaining. Nyaah. Don't worry, my little pals, it was in a parallel universe and has no impact on your timeline. I think. So far, anyway.

(Actually, this is not entirely true. That no one is complaining, I mean. Many people are complaining but no one actually has the authority to do anything about it. Besides, it was an important experiment and we needed to know the results. Besides that entire parallel timeline warps the intellect. I wasn't in my right mind. It was totally irrational and spur of the moment and I shouldn't have done it, but my, it's going to be fun to see how it plays out. Not to mention how many of the Q I have managed to annoy by doing it. Including [livejournal.com profile] amanda_the_q and my ex. Life is good sometimes.)

No no no.

I had nothing to do with it. I didn't create the insane universe; I just exploited it for personal amusement.

The experiment had to do with... well, let's just say there's a certain experiment I've been wanting to conduct ever since Kathy told me she wasn't willing to participate. (Actually, I can't keep all these universes straight. I didn't involve your Kathy in that, did I?)

So you're involved in this thing too, now? *Three* missing Tom Parises seems a remarkable coincidence. There may be some sort of quantum confluence. Although one of them's lost in the Delta Flyer and one of them's lost on Archer's Enterprise. (And by the way, Archer's security guard is even more fun than Worf.)

As for where your particular father is, that remains for me to know and you to figure out. But rest assured I had nothing to do with it.

And I've sworn off giving omnipotence to humans unless they were born that way, and half-human still counts. On the other hand you probably could work on those psionic abilities just a trifle harder.

As if I have time to work a trifle harder at anything, much less psionic abilities! Besides, if I learned one thing from Mother, it was that telekenisis and telepathy are only good for one thing...making Tuvok's life a little more difficult.

I'll take your word for it. For now.

I quite clearly recall telling you I wouldn't mate with you, if that's what you're referring to. A few times, in fact. And in case you're wondering, my position on this matter still stands.

Archer's Enterprise.? Time travel gives me a headache. But if you had anything to do with the disappearance of the Delta Flyer with [livejournal.com profile] _tom_paris_, [livejournal.com profile] _tuvok_ and Ensign Wildman on board, I'd like them returned ASAP.

Yes, you did.

Believe me, that's not something I'm likely to forget.

You are, however, not the only Kathryn Janeway in the multiverse. (In fact you've *met* at least one of the others, or talked to her at any rate, before her ship blew up and she sent you a random Harry Kim and Naomi Wildman to replace the ones you'd lost.) [livejournal.com profile] linnis_paris is from a different parallel universe (as you might have guessed from the fact that she has your dear departed Kesling's mother's first name and Tom Paris' last name), and I can't remember whether her universe split before or after you turned down your chance at vicarious immortality.

And no, I had nothing to do with the disappearance of the Delta Flyer... if I cared I might investigate why three Tom Paris' have disappeared more or less simultaneously in three different universes, but the truth is, I simply don't care enough to find out.

Oh dear. Are you implying--on second thought, never mind.

I had nothing to do with the disappearance of the Delta Flyer.

I didn't think you did, but as you know, I believe in covering all bases.

Have you so little faith in yourself, Kathy? :-)

Be of good cheer. None of them wanted to bear my child. (Well, none of the ones I actually asked, anyway. There may be timelines where that did happen, but they'd be alternates of me as well as of you, and generally I find it annoying to have to deal with alternates of me. They're always so insufferably smug.)

I will say, however, that some of them have much better taste than you do, even if they didn't want to be the mother of a god.
