Well, I figured that someone would get some sort of Orb warning and that we'd have to go out in the Defiant and the runabouts and blow the asteroids up and then consider ourselves very lucky to have found out about the asteroids in the first place.
The Prophets love us, and watch over us, but they seem to prefer to send visions and guides and work in more...obscure...manners. They're not big on the meddling, although the Captain is, so I guess they might be more into the miracle buisness.
...yeah, I guess I have to go to set up the mandela.
Besides, how was I to know that you had a cozy respect for the Prophets? I figured gods and godlike beings had little fights about this sort of thing all the time.
